Ice Blue
The ice blue dial of the Edmond attracts attention with its controlled freshness and mineral shade. Between bluish silver and cool light, this rare color in watchmaking evokes precision, discretion, and elegance without excess. Inspired by Edmond Dantès, a figure of clear vision, this version is aimed at those who prioritize readability and distinction.
Equipped with a 40 mm mirror-polished 904L steel case, a sunburst textured domed dial, and curved applied indices, it combines precision, refinement, and singularity. All powered by a France Ébauches automatic caliber, assembled in Maîche (Doubs), with 28,800 vibrations per hour. Limited edition of 99 pieces, certified Origine France Garantie.
The domed ice blue dial, adorned with a raised sunburst finish, reveals reflections that oscillate between light steel and bluish brilliance depending on the viewing angle. It offers a luminous, never flashy, readability, faithful to the model's subtle aesthetic. The slightly curved applied indices add depth to the dial, while the clean-designed leaf hands ensure immediate readability.
The case of the ice blue Edmond is carved from 904L steel, a material rare in watchmaking, renowned for its corrosion resistance and lasting brilliance. Its 40 mm diameter and contained thickness of 10.63 mm guarantee an affirmed and comfortable presence on the wrist. The alternation of polished and brushed surfaces underscores the mastery of the finishes, and its screwed case back reinforces the overall robustness. This structure guarantees water resistance up to 50 meters, designed to face everyday life with serenity.
Like all Edmond pieces, this ice blue version incorporates the identity codes of the 1977 collection: a logoed PL seconds hand, a date window with the red number 7, and a fluted crown with 19 teeth. They sign the claimed heritage of Pierre Lannier, the parent company of 1977, whose industrial know-how and local roots nurtured this more confidential, more committed vision of watchmaking. An affirmed continuity, serving a more free and independent watchmaking expression.
Equipped with the France Ébauches FE 1977-11 caliber, the Edmond model guarantees remarkable watchmaking precision. Its automatic movement features a precision adjustment of +/- 7 seconds, beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and offers a 44-hour power reserve. Its traversing bridge reinforces stability, while its double-cone Incabloc shock absorber protects the mechanism with absolute reliability
Discover the movement
The beating heart of the watch, the France Ébauches FE1977-11 automatic caliber, is designed and assembled in Maîche, in the heart of the Jura massif. It displays a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 44-hour power reserve, a guarantee of precision and reliability. Through the transparent sapphire crystal case back, engraved with the 2025 Millésime, one discovers an oscillating weight decorated in blue-white-red, with the 1977 logo, affirming the brand's origin and commitment to independent and audacious French watchmaking.
The Origine France Garantie certification guarantees that more than 50% of the watch's value comes from the national territory. Its movement is machined in Maîche, and its final assembly carried out in Alsace. This label, rare and demanding, translates the brand's territorial roots and the coherence of its industrial commitment. A watch that clearly affirms its origins.
The second collection signed 1977, the 2026 Millésime brings together the brand’s fundamentals: exacting manufacturing standards, aesthetic singularity and strong territorial roots. Produced in only 99 numbered pieces, the ice blue Edmond watch is intended for an informed clientele seeking meaning as much as style.
Engraved on the inside of the case, the words of Victor Hugo – “L'avenir est une porte, le passé en est la clé.” (“The future is a door, the past is the key.”) – remind us that every aesthetic and technical choice is a deliberate commitment.
The strap of the ice blue Edmond is made of gray calf leather, hand-patinated in France. Its matte finishes, with ash nuances, naturally harmonizes with the ice blue dial, without ever stealing the show. Comfortable from the first wear, it is lined with black leather and finished with a logoed pin buckle. Conceived as a visual extension of the case, it places the watch in a sober and current chromatic coherence.
Delivered in a brown nappa leather travel case, the ice blue Edmond watch is protected by an object as refined as it is functional. Compact and robust, it accompanies daily travel or special occasions. Designed to last, it embodies the brand's values: utility, discreet elegance, and quality manufacturing.
