Your 1977 watch embodies unique artisanal know-how and deserves special attention.
Our genuine leather straps are carefully crafted, colored, and hand-patinated, giving them a unique and lively character.
Like any natural material, leather evolves over time and becomes more beautiful. To prolong its beauty, a few simple actions suffice: avoid water, excessive humidity, and chemical products.
With this care, your leather strap will retain its charm and comfort for a long time. For swimming, prefer a steel or FKM rubber strap. Our Edmond models are water-resistant up to 50 meters, and the Arsène collection up to 100 meters, provided the crown is properly pushed in or screwed down after adjustment
Finally, to extend its lifespan, entrust it regularly to our 1977 after-sales service workshop for maintenance.

When commissioning or after the watch has stopped, you must manually wind your 1977 watch. Simply turn the crown in position 1 clockwise about twenty times.
For an Edmond watch, pull the crown to position 3. For Arsène, unscrew the crown and pull it to position 3. The seconds hand stops to allow you a precision setting.
Avoid between 10 p.m. and 3 a.m. Pull the crown to position 2 and turn counter-clockwise to correct the date. Push the crown back to position 1 after adjustments to guarantee the watch's water resistance.
For the Arsène watch, push the crown back to position 1 and screw the crown down.
