Blue
Inspired by Edmond Dantès, a French literary figure, the Edmond watch adopts an intense blue dial, a symbol of mental clarity, fidelity, and contained ambition. This shade evokes the horizon he never ceased to fix on, even when imprisoned, and reflects the patient quest of those who build their destiny with lucidity and tenacity.
Its 40 mm mirror-polished 904L steel case, its domed smoked blue dial, its curved indices, and its hand-patinated leather strap make it an exceptional piece. Powered by the France Ébauches FE1977-11 automatic caliber, it offers a 44-hour power reserve, a transparent case back engraved with the 2026 Millésime, and a limited production of 99 pieces, certified Origine France Garantie.
The domed blue dial, animated by a raised domed finish, offers a subtle and lively play of light. Each movement reveals a new nuance, between brilliance and density. Leaf hands and applied indices punctuate this space with clarity and precision.
Forged in 904L steel, recognized for its brilliance and durability, the 40 mm case, with a thickness of 10.63 mm, plays on the alternation of brushed and polished finishes. Its curved structure is accompanied by a screwed case back, guaranteeing robustness and water resistance to 50 meters.
Every detail of the Edmond watch reflects the brand's exacting standards: logoed PL seconds hand, red number 7 in the date window, and fluted crown with 19 notches. A singular reading of refinement, between tradition and modernity.
Equipped with the France Ébauches FE 1977-11 caliber, the Edmond model guarantees remarkable watchmaking precision. Its automatic movement features a precision adjustment of +/- 7 seconds, beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour, and offers a 44-hour power reserve. Its traversing bridge reinforces stability, while its double-cone Incabloc shock absorber protects the mechanism with absolute reliability

The blue Edmond model is part of the second Millésime of the 1977 brand, engraved with a quote by Victor Hugo: “L'avenir est une porte, le passé en est la clé.” (“The future is a door, the past is the key.”)
A watch conceived as a benchmark for enthusiasts, produced in a strictly limited series.
Certified Origine France Garantie, the watch embodies 1977's industrial commitment to production rooted in France. The FE1977-11 movement is manufactured in Maîche, in the Doubs region, and the final assembly is carried out in Alsace. This label attests that at least 50% of the watch's value originates from the national territory. It guarantees transparency, traceability, and valorization of a French watchmaking fabric, balancing artisanal excellence and technical rigor.
Crafted from colored calf leather then artisanally patinated by a French artist, the blue Edmond strap evolves with time. Natural comfort, unique texture, and logoed pin buckle: every detail affirms a strong watchmaking identity.
Presented in a brown nappa leather case, the Edmond watch is carefully protected in a functional format, designed for everyday life and travel. An elegant, durable object consistent with the spirit of the 1977 house.
