General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS)

The 1977 brand is a registered trademark exclusively owned by PIERRE LANNIER SASU.

The website www.montres1977.com is operated by PIERRE-LANNIER.FR SASU.

1 - Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale define the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with the sale of products offered by PIERRE-LANNIER.FR SASU on its online sales platform accessible at www.montres1977.com. This service is reserved exclusively for retail sales.

By placing an order for a product offered for sale, the Buyer fully and unconditionally accepts these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, having acknowledged them prior to ordering by ticking the box: “I acknowledge that I have read these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and accept their terms” immediately before proceeding to payment.

The GTCS of the 1977 brand are accessible at any time via a link at the bottom of the Website and on the order validation page. They may be printed using the browser’s print function. PIERRE-LANNIER.FR SASU recommends printing them at the time of ordering.

PIERRE-LANNIER.FR SASU reserves the right to modify these GTCS at any time. However, the GTCS applicable to an order are those accepted by the Buyer at the time the order is placed.

2 - General Provisions

The Customer declares having obtained from PIERRE-LANNIER.FR SASU all necessary information regarding the use of the online sales platform and the quantitative and qualitative characteristics of the products.

The Customer acknowledges that acceptance of these GTCS does not require a handwritten signature.

The Customer declares that the purchase of products is not directly related to their professional activity and is intended solely for private, personal and non-professional use.

As a consumer, the Customer benefits from specific rights that would be called into question if the products purchased via the website were in fact related to a professional activity.

The Customer declares being of legal age or an emancipated minor pursuant to Articles 476, 477 and 1124 of the French Civil Code, and having full legal capacity to enter into these GTCS.

4 - Contractual Documents

In the event of contradiction, the higher-ranking document shall prevail.

5 - Enforceability of the GTCS

The version of the GTCS enforceable against the Customer is the one published on the Website at the time of order validation. The date of last update is indicated in the preamble.

Previous versions are archived by PIERRE-LANNIER.FR SASU.

Online documents prevail over any previous printed version.

The GTCS may be modified or deleted at any time by PIERRE-LANNIER.FR SASU.

6 - Presentation of Products

9 - Order Execution

9.1 - Identification and Acceptance

The Customer undertakes to provide accurate information via online forms.

The contractual process includes identification, review of GTCS, acceptance, payment and electronic confirmation.

9.2 - Order Placement

Orders are placed via electronic order forms.

Double-click confirmation constitutes irrevocable acceptance, except in cases provided under withdrawal rights.

9.3 - Confirmation

Contractual information will be confirmed by email at the latest upon delivery, including:

9.4 - Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with French Consumer Law No. 2014-344 of March 17, 2014, the Customer has 14 working days from receipt to exercise the right of withdrawal. This period is extended to 30 calendar days by PIERRE-LANNIER.FR SASU.

Only watches, gift sets and jewelry may be returned. Straps sold separately do not qualify for free returns.

Refunds shall be processed within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods.

9.5 - Returns and Refunds

Refunds are issued once products are returned in original packaging and in resale condition.

9.6 - Execution

Orders are executed after payment confirmation. Dispatch timelines vary depending on payment method and order time.

9.7 - Delivery

Delivery is made to the address provided by the Customer.

Delivery times: up to 5 working days (France), up to 10 working days internationally.

12 - Defective Products / Warranty

Your 1977 watch is covered by a 5-year warranty from purchase date against material and manufacturing defects.

The warranty excludes glass, straps, accidental damage, misuse, unauthorized repairs and normal wear.

13 - Evidence Agreement

Computerized records stored in secure systems shall constitute proof of communications, orders and payments.

14 - Password

The Customer is solely responsible for the confidentiality of their password and must notify any loss or misuse.

15 - Integrity of Online Content

The Customer undertakes not to damage or illegally access data stored on the website.

16 - Intellectual Property

All website elements, designs, images, texts and product designs are the exclusive property of PIERRE-LANNIER.FR SASU.

17 - Independence of Parties

Each party remains independently responsible for its commitments.

18 - Force Majeure

PIERRE-LANNIER.FR SASU shall not be liable for non-performance due to force majeure, stock shortages, strikes, transport disruptions, flood or fire.

19 - Applicable Law

These GTCS are governed by French law.
